Grants & Funding
Every generation of educators has faced new challenges. This one is different.
The lasting effects of the pandemic have collided with an extraordinary period of technological change — platforms and products engineered to capture attention and drive engagement are reshaping childhood faster than schools, families, and communities can adapt.
Schools didn't create these problems. But increasingly, they're asked to deal with the consequences — without new resources to do it.
Our Approach
Schools should not have to face them alone.
Dymaxion Partners works alongside school districts to identify sources of financial recovery, grants, reimbursement programs, and public and private funding initiatives that can provide resources beyond the ordinary education budget.
Our objective is to identify opportunities through which new student-support programs can become self-funding or substantially supported by newly recovered resources — not another line item for an already-strained budget.
The Funding Landscape
Federal, state, and private — we research what applies to you.
Below is a representative sample — five federal programs available nationwide, plus five Texas-specific programs shown as an example of the state-level funding landscape we also research. Every state administers its own equivalent discretionary and formula programs; we identify what's actually available in each district's state.
| Program | Scope | Administration |
|---|---|---|
| Title IV, Part A — Student Support & Academic Enrichment | Federal | ESSA formula grant; administered through each state's education agency |
| School-Based Mental Health Services (SBMH) Grant | Federal | U.S. Department of Education; national competitive |
| Mental Health Service Professional (MHSP) Demonstration Grant | Federal | U.S. Department of Education; national competitive |
| IDEA Part B — Special Education Grants | Federal | Federal formula entitlement; flows through every state |
| Title I, Part A | Federal | ESSA formula grant; nationwide |
| Stronger Connections Grant Program / Texas Center for Student Supports | Texas | TEA-administered |
| Parent-Directed Special Education Services (PDSES) | Texas | TEA-administered |
| Learning Acceleration Support Opportunities (LASO) | Texas | TEA-administered |
| School Improvement / SSI Community Partnerships and Curriculum & Instruction Support Grants | Texas | TEA-administered |
| Texas Education of Homeless Children and Youth (TEHCY) Grants | Texas | TEA-administered |
Have a district in another state? We'll research that state's specific grant landscape as part of the funding assessment.

Once funding is identified, your district gains access to specialists across:
- ›Youth mental health and suicide prevention

- ›Gaming and compulsive digital behavior
- ›Cyberbullying and online safety
- ›AI and emerging technology
- ›Student engagement and truancy reduction
- ›Parent and educator training
- ›Data analysis and program evaluation
- ›Public health and prevention strategy
- ›District-specific student protection initiatives
How It Works
Four steps. One objective: resources that reach students.
01
We identify the opportunity
We research the federal, state, and private funding landscape that applies to your district — grants, reimbursement programs, and recovery opportunities your budget is not currently capturing.
02
We assemble the appropriate experts
We build the specialist team around your district's needs — mental health, digital safety, program evaluation — so the plan is grounded in the right expertise, not a generic template.
03
We help secure available resources
We support the applications and proposals needed to bring the funding home, coordinating the process from identification through award.
04
We assist districts in developing programs responsive to their particular students and communities
Funding is the means, not the end. We help districts translate new resources into student-support programs shaped by their own students, families, and communities.
Related Litigation
Grant funding and litigation recovery work better together.
For districts addressing the costs of social media and technology-related harm, our grants and funding work complements the Social Media Adolescent Addiction litigation — one track pursues recovered resources from the platforms, the other identifies funding already available to your district today.
